Our President, Mr Harry Sinnaghel, and the members of the
O.C.J.B. (Organe de Consultation entre Chrétiens et Juifs en Belgique, the
Belgian membership of the I.C.C.J.) would like to thank you for the expression
of your condolence, sympathy, affection and solidarity with the Belgian people
passing through the horror of the brutal terrorist attacks. Thank you also for
your informing others about these cruelties.
We can put forward that terrorist groups try to destabilize the
functioning of our society with violent attacks and to undermine, bits by bits,
our democracy based on pluralism and values issued from jewish-christian
traditions and secularism. They clearly pursue political aims.
The anti-dote to murder and destruction is Life, Peace and the
unity of all constructive forces. We’ll have to strengthen our determination
and engagement to pave the way leading to Peace. We’ll have also to intensify
our vigilance towards different kinds of obscurantism and fundamentalism
emerging in our societies.
Peace will come, if at all levels of our society people
contribute to realize the deepest desire of humanity: living in Peace and
Brotherhood as children of On Father.

Nuestro Presidente, el Sr. Harry Sinnaghel, y los miembros de la O.C.J.B.
(Organe de Consulta Entre Chrétiens et Juifs en Belgique, y los miembros de la
Delegación belga del I.C.C.J.) quisieran darle las gracias por las expresiones
de sus condolencias, afecto y solidaridad con el pueblo belga, que pasan por el
horror de los brutales ataques terroristas. Gracias también por informar a
otros, acerca de estas crueldades.
Podemos comentarles que los grupos terroristas tratan de desestabilizar el
funcionamiento de nuestra sociedad con ataques violentos y de socavar, nuestra
democracia basada en el pluralismo y
valores emitidos de las tradiciones judeocristianas y del secularismo. Se
persiguen objetivos políticos, claramente.
El antídoto al asesinato y a la destrucción es la vida, la paz y la unidad de
todas las fuerzas constructivas. Vamos a tener que reforzar nuestra
determinación y compromiso para allanar el camino que conduce a la paz.
Tendremos también que intensificar nuestra vigilancia hacia los diferentes
tipos de oscurantismo y fundamentalismos emergentes en nuestras sociedades.
La paz llegará, si en todos los niveles de nuestra sociedad las personas
contribuyen a realizar el deseo más profundo de la humanidad: vivir en paz y
hermandad como hijos del Padre.
